Marvel’s Jessica Jones Renewed For A Third Season


Marvel’s Jessica Jones has been renewed by Netflix for a third season. The news comes just over a month since Season 2 launched on the streaming platform. 

Along with Krysten Ritter, other regular cast members include Rachael Taylor as Trish Walker, Carrie-Anne Moss as Jeri Hogarth and Eka Darville as Malcolm Ducasse. 
A season one regular, David Tennant made a guest appearance in the second season of the show. It’s unconfirmed if he will appear in any episodes of the third season.

The current season sees Jessica, played by Krysten Ritter, delving into her past to unravel the mystery behind her own origin story, from the death of her family in a car accident to the experimental procedures she endured to the source of her own powers. Jessica also tries to deal with the emotional aftermath of murdering Kilgrave (David Tennant), her tormentor, from the show’s first season.

Jessica Jones  is executively produced by showrunner Melissa Rosenberg along with Marvel’s Jeph Loeb and Jim Chory.
