VIDEO: Preview Clip Of Next Week's W1A

Image
The BBC have released a  of preview clip of episode two of the third series of their award winning sitcom W1A.

W1A is the creation of writer and director John Morton and is set in the BBC, although it is said to be a satire on all labyrinthine management structures. The series follows on from Twenty Twelve, which wryly mocked the organisation around the London Olympic Games, and tracks the next career steps of former Olympic Deliverance Committee lead Ian Fletcher (Hugh Bonneville) and inept PA Siobhan Sharp (Jessica Hynes) as they take on new roles in the BBC. W1A utilises the same spoof fly-on-the-wall documentary approach as Twenty Twelve, complemented by David Tennant’s dry narration.

Episode 2
Cross-dressing ex-Premier League footballer Ryan Chelford's appearance on a late-night, midweek edition of Match of the Day did not go well. Host Gary Lineker and pundit Alan Shearer were literally lost for words. But the BBC in general and, in his role as head of values Ian Fletcher i…

NEW PHOTOS: Another Era Of Crowley & Aziraphale As Good Omens Continues Filming In London

Image
The Good Omens shoot went time travelling today as the action took a step back to the 19th Century. The demon and angel duo of Crowley and Aziraphale, played by David Tennant and Michael Sheen, were strikingly different in appearance as the production moved into its second day of principal photography. Gone were Crowley's skinny jeans and flowing red hair; instead the characters appeared in Victorian garb, with long coats and tall top hats, and were surrounded by a host of period-clad extras and horsedrawn carriages.

The apocalyptic comedy Good Omens centres on the final battle between Heaven and Hell, triggered by the arrival of the Antichrist on Earth. Caught up in the conflict are a stuffy angel-turned-bookdealer called Aziraphale (Michael Sheen) and a fast living, houseplant-terrorising demon, Crowley (David Tennant) who have been living among the human race for so long - since the Beginning, in fact - that they've become rather fond of the planet and its inhabitants and, …

USA: Mad To Be Normal Picked Up By Samuel Goldwyn Films For 2018 Release

Image
The long-awaited release of David Tennant's movie Mad To Be Normal looks to be set for the USA as Samuel Goldwyn Films announce that they have picked up the distribution rights for the States. The news comes hot on the heels of David's co-star Elisabeth Moss's weekend Emmy win for her role in TV phenomenon The Handmaid's Tale, while David himself has been hitting the headlines as he begins work on the 2019 comedy drama Good Omens.

Mad To Be Normal was written and directed by Robert Mullen and is based on the life of maverick psychiatrist RD Laing, played by David Tennant. Laing's radical medication-free approach to treating mental illness put him at odds with the rest of the medical community throughout his career. In the late 1960s he set up a project in Kingsley Hall in London where people experiencing psychosis and medical staff lived together as equals, and it is this partially successful experiment that is explored in the movie. Elisabeth Moss plays Laing's…
