David Tennant Review Of The Year: May 2016


We continue our review of the year today with a look back at the month of May.

David became a regular participant on the Channel 4 cringe fest Very British Problems appearing on the new series and chatting about a range of subjects including school, friends and holidays.



He also returned to the host's chair on the satirical news quiz Have I Got News For You on BBC One.



David Skyped the Netflix FYC panel during the Marvel's Jessica Jones segment. "It's four in the morning here, I'm wearing my pyjamas," he joked - gesturing to his off-screen bottom half.


David Tennant and Catherine Tate made their eagerly anticipated return to the TARDIS as the Tenth Doctor and Donna for three brand new adventures in space and time with the release of a new collection of audio stories from Big Finish.
A new Tenth Doctor novel, In The Blood, by Jenny Colgan was also released.

It was announced that David was to be joining the cast of the new romantic comedy Fish Without Bicycles (now known as You, Me And Him).


The third and final series of Broadchurch went in to production. Sir Lenny Henry and Roy Hudd were the latest big names to be announced as joining the cast.

Russell T Davies revealed that he had gone to David Tennant for inspiration for his extravagant BBC adaptation of a Midsummer Night's Dream.

Another American fan convention appearance was announced with MegaCon Tampa Bay confirming David would join them.
