UK TV PREMIERE: David Tennant Narrates Don't Look Down: Rope Men Tonight

Tonight sees David Tennant narrate a new hour-long documentary on ITV at 8pm. Don't Look Down: Rope Men profiles those fearless workers with heads for heights: industrial abseilers.

Abseiling is one of the UK’s fastest-growing businesses, viewed as a cheaper and greener alternative to scaffolding. The programme follows the staff of Brentwood based Avalon Abseiling across three months as they tackle jobs in London, Plymouth and Dubai.

Don't Look Down: Rope Men
Tuesday 7th June
8.00pm BST, ITV
A look at the spectacular sights and extraordinary experiences of one of Britain's most dangerous jobs - industrial abseiling. At the top of Tower Bridge, Alexandra Palace and a Dubai skyscraper, the difference between life and death is just one strong rope. Wearing personal mini-cameras, a specialist team scales the heights, including footage of being suspended 800ft high in 118-degree heat. Meanwhile in Plymouth, the workers have to deal with other problems, namely a protective mother seagull defending her nest of chicks.
