NEW PHOTOS: David Tennant And Rosamund Pike Shooting What We Did On Our Holiday

David Tennant and Rosamund Pike have been pictured in Glasgow shooting the first scenes of their new film What We Did On Our Holiday.  The actors were observed filming a scene where they loaded up the family car with suitcases and children's toys, and chatting together between takes.

What We Did On our Holiday sees the directorial debut of screenwriters Guy Jenkin and Andy Hamilton, best known as the creators of Outnumbered and this latest project will use the same semi-improvisational techniques as the hit BBC comedy. David Tennant and Rosamund Pike star as Doug and Abi, a couple of the verge of divorce, who have to put their differences aside in order to travel with their three children to Scotland for a big family celebration. The cast also includes Billy Connolly, Ben Miller, Amelia Bullmore and Celia Imrie, with Harriet Turnbull, Bobby Smalldridge and Emilia Jones playing the couple's three children.

The seven week shoot will take place entirely on location in Scotland. The film, a co-production between BBC Films and Origin Pictures with funding from Creative Scotland, is scheduled for a 2014 release.
