Episode Three Of Broadchurch Is A Times Pick Of the Day

The Times recommend Broadchurch as one of the must see programmes for tonight. In episode three, the detectives think they have their killer, and DI Hardy is finding living in the town not to his taste. Read what they have to say here (contains spoilers):

Broadchurch
ITV, 9pm

Everything is pointing to the father having killed his own son. His prints have been found at the scene of the murder and he “couldn’t remember” the name of his alibi. Incriminating evidence is piling up to such devastating effect that — television drama being what it is — he obviously couldn’t have done it. But the fractious relationship between the two detectives (David Tennant and Olivia Colman) is still the main reason to stay tuned. Tennant’s detective loathes Broadchurch with a passion. “I hate the sand,” he says. “I hate the stupid people. I hate the way they work. I hate their bloody smiley bloody faces. And I hate the never-ending sky.” It looks like he won’t be retiring there.

Broadchurch also stars Andrew Buchan Jodie Whittaker, Arthur Darvill, Pauline Quirke, Vicky McClure and Will Mellor.
