Spook-Tacular Half Term Treats At The Doctor Who Experience

From Saturday 27th October – Sunday 4th November, step into the scariest Experience yet as for one week only the Doctor Who Experience will be transformed into a haunted wonderland.

With many spine-tingling activities and talks planned for the week, the Doctor Who Experience will be on hand to prepare you for the scariest holiday of the year.

On Saturday 27th October get straight into the Halloween spirit with our expert Doctor Who chorographer Alisa Burke. Alisa will teach you the moves to imitate the Monsters from the show, so you can spook family and friends this Halloween.

A must for all Doctor Who enthusiasts is the informal chat with the master of artefacts himself: Andrew Beech on Sunday 28th October. Come to the mezzanine with questions prepared and learn about the array of artefacts found in the Experience.

Having learnt all there is to know about monsters, on Monday 29th October get the chance to LOOK like the scariest monsters on screen with the help of Doctor Who Make-up and Prosthetics Artist, Bethan Kate Harris. Scare friends and family alike by being transformed into a wicked Weeping Angel, a creepy Cyberman, a peculiar Peg Doll or a shrieking Silence, or alternatively have the classic Dalek or TARDIS painted on the side of your face to fully get you into the spooky mood.

On Halloween the Experience comes to life for one day only: be prepared for spooky surprises as not everything will be as it seems (clue: look out for the monsters!) Get another chance to look like a frightening monster with the help from resident Doctor Who Experience Make-up and Prosthetic Artist, Bethan Kate Harris – the perfect Halloween preparations for any trick or treating! And if you’re not Halloween-ed out after Wednesday, get the chance to have your face painted as another monster by Bethan Kate Morris on Friday 2nd November.

Another treat for Doctor Who fanatics comes on Saturday 3rd November, where Steve Nicholas (former Art Director and production extraordinaire on the BBC show) will hold informal chats on the mezzanine regarding production. So if you ever wondered what it’s like to be behind the scenes on one of the most successful shows, this is your chance to find out!

To end what will be a spook-tacular week at the Experience, Alisa Burke will return to teach you the monster moves so you can leave the Experience transformed into a real live monster.

For things to do this half term, the Doctor Who Experience is the scariest place to be!
