The Spies Of Warsaw At MIPCOM 2012

BBC Worldwide are to offer The Spies Of Warsaw on the international TV market at MIPCOM 2012 next month.

MIPCOM  is the world's leading content market for creating, co-producing, buying, selling, financing and distributing entertainment across all platforms. It is held annually in Cannes. This year’s event runs from the 8^th – 11^th October 2012.

 BBC Worldwide are launching a number of other new titles onto the market, including Top Of The Lake, The Paradise  and  A Young Doctor’s Notebook. They will also be hosting the stars of Ripper Street, who will be appearing in person in Cannes to launch their series.

 Placing The Spies Of Warsaw on the market increases opportunities for it to be seen beyond the territories of the four co-production companies: the UK’s BBC Four, BBC America, ARTE France and Poland’s TVP 1.

The Spies Of Warsaw is adapted from the novel by Alan Furst and stars David Tennant and Janet Montgomery. Its debut worldwide broadcast will be on BBC Four later this year, date yet to be announced.
