Charity Doctor Who Comic Strip Set For Release

Featuring the tenth incarnation of the time travelling adventurer (as played by David Tennant on TV)
Time Leech is a compilation of a three-part web comic originating on the www.Kasterborous.com Doctor Who news and reviews website.

Conceived and scripted by Christian Cawley and Brian Terranova with artwork by Justin Abbot, Rick Lundeen and Martin MacIntosh, Time Leech throws the Doctor together with a new companion, Ruth as he uncovers a terrible Dalek plot to overthrow humanity.

This compilation is being released as a non-profit project, with all proceeds being split 50-50 between the annual Children in Need event and the Association for International Cancer Research (AICR), of which David Tennant is patron.

Wednesday, 18 April 2012 – Time Leech is the umbrella title for a series of comic strips from the Kasterborous.com website, collected here for the first time in print and ebook format for a limited time only to raise funds for Children in Need and AICR.

Created by Christian Cawley and Brian Terranova, Justin Abbot and Rick Lundeen, cover art is Martin MacIntosh, with additional credits to Colin Brockhurst and former Doctor Who Magazine editor John Freeman, who advised on the project.

A 30 page rip-roaring adventure through time and space, the comic strip originated as a project to find a new comic book artist.

Upon release, Time Leech will be available for £4.99 plus p&p, or £7.99 plus p&p for overseas readers. The ebook version is available CBR and PDF and can be purchased for 99p.

The electronic version is available now; the printed comic will be available to purchase from mid-May 2012.

  1. David Tennant was and still is the BEST Doctor and I miss his Doctor so much - isn't there a way of bringing him back? Doctor Who just hasn't been as good - which is obviously a combination of David leaving and the new writing team - it's just not as good as it was :(
